A full-size equine hyoid learning model created for students, professionals, demonstrations and anyone who wants to get a better understanding of this fascinating little structure.
The real equine hyoid is delicate and its small processes can be extremely fragile, making an actual specimen difficult to handle and use regularly for teaching.
This learning version has therefore been designed with additional reinforcement in some of the more delicate areas, making it much more practical for handling, demonstrations and visual learning.
Because of this reinforcement, there may be small differences in proportion or detail compared with an actual equine hyoid. It is intended as a visual learning and demonstration model rather than an exact replica.
