Each vertebra is individually made and averages around 6 inches in length, although the size and shape naturally varies depending on the individual vertebra.

Available in Bone White, these are brilliant for hands-on learning, demonstrations, colleges or simply having something physical in front of you while studying.

You can also choose to have the vertebrae embossed with their names at no additional cost, making them even easier to identify when learning or teaching.

The vertebrae can be purchased individually or as a complete C1–C7 set. When purchasing the complete set, the price includes a saving equivalent to buying one vertebra individually.

They can be left in their original finish or painted and colour coded to create your own personalised learning resource.

Our learning models are made from PLA, a lightweight material that allows us to create detailed pieces that are easy to handle, transport and use for teaching and demonstrations.

As with any model, a little care will help keep it looking its best. Avoid leaving your model in very hot areas, next to direct heat sources or inside a hot car, as excessive heat can cause PLA to soften or change shape. For cleaning, simply wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Because each piece is individually made, you may notice small lines or slight variations in the finish. These are a normal part of the making process and don't affect the use of the model.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

The models can also be painted and colour coded, which makes them brilliant for visual learning. You could highlight different areas, mark individual structures or create your own colour system to suit the way you learn.

Acrylic paints are a great option for adding colour. For the best finish, apply light coats and allow each layer to dry before adding the next.

Whether you keep yours in the original Bone White or turn it into your own colourful learning resource is completely up to you.
